In 2009 Binod left a successful corporate career to be a co-founder and the Managing Director of Genesis Institute, a Dubai based financial training company.
He quickly established a reputation as a brilliant trainer, known for fast simplification of the most complex topics, high level of engagement with students and inspiring and pushing them to study the vast and complex CFA curriculum and to crack the tough CFA exams.
Genesis changed the landscape of CFA prep in the Middle East and was acquired in 2017 by Kaplan Inc, a global training & publishing giant with annual revenue of USD 2 billion and 15,000 employees. This isn’t an insignificant achievement, since Kaplan is quite selective in acquiring companies overseas and this acquisition was arguably a testament to the quality of the brand built by Binod and his team.
