Binod started his career in 1992 in an industrial bank in India where he cut his teeth on loan and project appraisal of Small and Medium Enterprises. He then worked with KPMG, Andersen and Ernst & Young in Oman and Dubai mainly in audit.
He joined Nakheel, the high-profile Government owned property developer of the Palm Islands and many other iconic projects in Dubai where he rose rapidly, receiving a double promotion to become the Finance Director, helping along the way to raise the world’s largest convertible Islamic bond.
His last corporate position was as Executive Director-Finance at a leading regional fund house.
